SAOGE 2016

17-19 October

Dhahran International Exhibitions Center

Now in its 8th year, the Saudi Arabian Oil & Gas Exhibition – SAOGE - remains at the forefront of supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's (KSA) international oil and gas prominence.

With consistently high demand amongst the leading KSA operators and their international partners to attend SAOGE, the exhibition provides the perfect platform for companies to critically evaluate the commercial, policy and above all technological innovation together against a backdrop of depressed crude prices.

Taking place in Dammam in the Eastern Province, the KSA's core oil and gas hub, SAOGE 2016 provides a direct access to industry at source. SAOGE 2016 will be set against a backdrop of reduced global demand, depressed pricing and with the rise of newly emergent oil and gas exporters, a global oversupply, the exhibition addresses the necessity to constantly innovate to secure the bottom line and ensure healthy refining margins.

With a raft of sector experience and an abundance of hydrocarbon supply, the KSA is well placed to enact VISION 2030. Formally announced on the 26th April by H.E. Mohammad bin Salman, the Saudi Crown Prince, the strategy envisages the diversification of the kingdom's economy by utilising its oil and gas sector as a strategic asset to help the planned economic diversification and investments program.

With planned international investment opportunities, sector restructure and privatisation as well as a divestment of Aramco assets, the KSA oil and gas industry is set to play a key role in mitigating the KSA's exposure to global hydrocarbon fundamentals risk.

As other producers come on-stream or seek to consolidate their position in a tight market, the KSA experience as the MENA's leading producer, the Kingdom is seemingly well placed to maintain its position as the leading global petroleum exporter.

To this end SAOGE 2016 is a key component in this strategy as a centre for promoting cutting edge technologies, best practice and senior stakeholder networking. Saudi Arabia ranks as one of the world's 20 largest economies and is the largest economy in the MENA region.

SAOGE is an excellent platform for exhibitors to join more than 250 private and public companies, research institutions and government agencies, in a gathering of all the Oil & Gas leaders working in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Three days together, under the one roof, sharing the common aim of promoting, connecting, networking and doing business.

SAOGE 2016 is expected to attract over 10.000 visitors this October and to support this it will be running concurrently with the 2016 Machine Tools exhibition (MTE): two events held together, offering increased networking opportunities and more visibility for exhibitors.
